Group – III : General Studies – Compulsory subjects
Indian constitution, Human Rights and Environment Studies, Personality Development and Communication Skills, Computer Application shall be studied as compulsory subjects first, second, third and fourth semesters respectively.
Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA)
Pass in PUC-II Science and Commerce the minimum score should be 35%. Admission is made as per reservation policy of Govt. of Karnataka. JOCD students with maths or commerce or compo Sc. Engineering as one of the subjects with min 35% marks and above in JODC are eligible. The three year diploma students who have scored 35% marks are eligible for admission to B.C.A. with maths or compo Sc. Engineering subject. J.O.D.C. and Diploma students must produce eligibility certificate from Karnataka University before the admission to the B.C.A. Course.

Master of Science Master of Computer Science
Eligibility and Admission procedure:
B.Sc. with Mathematics / Statistics at 10+2 level, B.Com, with PGDCA, BCA, B.E., B.Tech.,
Each Semester has seven courses with theory and practical. Fourth semester is devoted to project work to be completed in Institutions / Industry / Research and Development Organizations.
The candidates have to appear for interview. Admissions will be made in accordance with Karnataka University guidelines.
Courseware: Computer Organizations and Architecture, C Programming and Data structure, System Software, communication and Visual Basic, C++, Networking, System Design, Modeling and Simulation, Java, Software Engineering and DBMS with electives, Practical and Project.
M.Sc in Biotechnology
Eligibility: B.Sc with Botany / Zoology / Applied Genetics / Biotechnology or equivalent life science branches
